When I went in last year, the store owner made me cry... tears of happiness. We were newly arrived in Pembroke, and I needed a little retail therapy. Where we come from, people who dress in baggy clothes are scrutinized, and I felt seen and heard by the staff. It was such a welcoming experience that I was moved to tears. I recently went in to just take a look, and that same welcoming environment was still there. As a heavier person, I know most boutique clothes do not fit my size, but the staff worked hard to find me something that I loved and felt comfortable in. Thank you so much! Absolutely fantastic online ordering experience! I ordered a pair of heels for my wedding, the staff were quick to answer any sizing questions I had, the package was shipped quickly and arrived in perfect condition! Love this local gem! Not only do they carry affordable on-trend clothing, but you can tell they really care about their customers and community. I’ve had to bring my busy toddler into the shop with me a few times, and the store owner as well as staff have always put me at ease and even helped occupy my daughter while I tried on clothing. As a mom whose spouse is often away, this small gesture from the staff meant more than I can even express. The store owner also invests so much of her time and energy into our small community.
